The Rector Prof. Stanislav Kmeť, in the presence of the Vice-Rector for Science, Research and Doctoral Studies, Prof. Ivo Petráš, received newly appointed professors of the Technical University of Košice in his office. It is always a great event when TUKE accepts new members to the ranks of professors. It increases the reputation and credit of our university.

The meeting was attended by the newly appointed professors:

• prof. Ing. Peter Frankovský, PhD., from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of TUKE, appointed in the field of HKaIK “Applied Mechanics”,
• prof. Ing. Roman Vodička, PhD., from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, TUKE, appointed in the field of HKaIK “Engineering Structures and Transport Construction”.
