Memorandum of Cooperation between TUKE and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Investments and Informatization

The signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Technical University of Košice and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Investments and Informatization, proved the mutual interest in deepening cooperation in order to improve participation in joint activities, developmental and innovative tasks.

Before the signing of the Memorandum, a training lecture was held on November 28, 2019, by Ing. Jaroslav Kmeť, the Director General of the Public Administration Information Technologies Section, on the subject of Modern-eSlovensko /Modern-eSlovakia/, the State Friendly to People, and then on Friday, November 29, 2019, the very signing of the Memorandum took place. It was signed by the Rector prof. Stanislav Kmeť on behalf of TUKE and the Director General Ing. Jaroslav Kmeť on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Investments and Informatization.

The memorandum clarifies existing mutual forms of cooperation between the two institutions, which were concentrated in the university science park UVP TECHNICOM. At the same time it declares new issues, such as mutual provision of expert consultations, creation of conditions for preparing students for the labour market, e.g. through the possibility of short-term internships, and the use of expertise, suggestions and comments of the scientific and pedagogical experts.
