Between mid-November 2017 and mid-February 2018, two students of the Technical University of Kosice enjoyed a scientific-research stay in India. The stay was organised under the project H2020 "Smart Manufacturing and Logistics for SMEs in an X-to-order and Mass Customization Environment".

Those who took part in the scientific-research stay were Leoš Šafár a Jakub Sopko, the full time students of the Faculty of Economics of TUKE, who spent three months in the city of Madurai at the SACS MAVMM Engineering College. During the stay they visited several small and medium-sized enterprises whose aim is implementation of various components of Industry 4.0 platform.

In addition to these activities, they discovered a lot about the history of the city of Madurai and the way of life in South India.
