Final assessment results of the research grant for young researchers at TUKE for the year 2023

University Highlights

The reports on the implementation of the research grant for young scientists at TUKE for the year 2023, which were sent to the Department of Science, Research and Doctoral Studies of TUKE, were responsibly assessed by Prof. Ing. Ivo Petráš, DrSc., the Chairman of the Commission for Science and Research of TUKE. The results of the final assessment were forwarded to the Rector of TUKE.

All the seven projects that were funded in this call for the project period from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, were completed with the final assessment result – the project objectives have been successfully fulfilled.

01/TUKE/2023: New method of surface treatment of titanium alloys by ultrasonic treatment of titanium alloys by pulsating water jet, responsible researcher: Ing. Gabriel Stolárik, Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies at TUKE, based in Prešov

02/TUKE/2023: Research and development of an autonomous logistics system based on small physical models and computer simulation of robotic workplaces as a means of logistics research, responsible researcher: Ing. Jakub Kovalčík, PhD., Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies at TUKE

03/TUKE/2023: Design and implementation of a measuring workplace for measuring performance parameters of electromagnetic activators used for stabilization and position control of nanosatellites, responsible researcher: Ing. Patrik Kašper, PhD., Faculty of Aeronautics at TUKE

04/TUKE/2023: Control of kinematically redundant robots designed for surgical minimally invasive procedures, responsible researcher: Ing. Peter Ján Sinčák, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at TUKE

05/TUKE/2023: Development and research of high­‑entropy oxides for lithium­‑ion batteries, responsible researcher: Ing. Dávid Csík, Faculty of Materials, Metallurgy and Recycling at TUKE

06/TUKE/2023: Artificial Intelligence Approach and IT Technologies for Human­‑Machine Collaboration in Industry 5.0, responsible researcher: Ing. Maroš Krupáš, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at TUKE

07/TUKE/2023: Design and construction of a remodular building unit within the premises of TUKE, responsible researcher: Ing. Ivana Halászová, Faculty of Civil Engineering at TUKE
