Winners of the sixteenth annual competition “Student Personality of Slovakia” for the academic year 2019/2020 were announced. The competition is organized under the auspices of the President of the SR, Ms Zuzana Čaputová, and annually under the professional guarantee of the Slovak Rectors' Conference and the Slovak Academy of Sciences.

This year, the jury selected successful students and young scientists from 91 nominations in thirteen categories. The Student Personality of Slovakia is a national competition for students at all levels of higher education. 

Ing. Lukáš Tóth, a student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering TUKE, received the prestigious award in the category “Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering”, and also became the OVERALL WINNER of the Student Personality of Slovakia 2019/2020.
