On Tuesday, 25 June 2019 prof. Stanislav Kmeť, CSc., the Rector of TUKE, received newly appointed professors of the Technical University of Košice at his office. It is always a great event when TUKE professors welcome new members, especially, because their appointment raises the reputation and credit of the university.

His Excellency Andrej Kiska, the President of the Slovak Republic, appointed new professors on 11 June 2019, including professors from the Technical University of Košice:

prof. Ing. Jozef Svetlík, PhD., from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering TUKE, appointed in the field “manufacturing engineering”;

prof. Ing. Ján Viňáš, PhD., from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering TUKE, appointed in the field “engineering technology and materials”.
