Discussions on artificial intelligence at TUKE

On October 1, 2019 at the premises of Aula Maxima, an exceptional motivational meeting was held with a unique personality , Tanmay Bakshi, a 15-year-old Canadian programmer, author of books on artificial intelligence, expert in machine learning, TED lecturer, who works as a consultant with IBM and who the media often refer to as the modern genius. The meeting was attended by over 400 high school students from Eastern Slovakia as well as TUKE students and staff. During his stay at TUKE, Tanmay Bakshi visited the Department of Computers and Informatics and the Department of Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence, where he took a keen interest in their research and development activities and in possible cooperation with these departments. The meeting was organized in close cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia, companies AT&T and T-Systems, and the university science park TECHNICOM.
