The Award of the President of the Košice Self-Governing Region for the year 2023 was received by Dr. h. c. prof. Ing. Martina Zeleňáková, PhD.
These awards are handed out once a year by the KSK to individuals and collectives, primarily for their special contribution to the development of the KSK, for outstanding results achieved in the fields of humanitarian, religious, technical, cultural and artistic, journalistic, public service, medical, business and sports activities, for their contribution towards the development and friendship between nations and regions, and to personalities who have significantly influenced the historical development of the Košice Region through their life-long efforts.
