The Rector, Prof. Ing. Peter Mésároš, PhD., hosted the newly appointed professors at the Technical University of Košice in the presence of the members of the TUKE Management at the Rector's Office of TUKE. The event of welcoming new members to the university professors' team is always a great occasion. It builds the reputation and credit of our university.
The new appointed professors who took part in the meeting:

•  prof. Ing. Samer Khouri, PhD., from the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies of TUKE, appointed in the field of HP and AP "Extraction and Processing of Earth Resources"
•  prof. Ing. Marian Šofranko, PhD., from the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies of TUKE, appointed in the field of HP and AP "Extraction and Processing of Earth Resources"
•  prof. Ing. Ivan Virgala, PhD., from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of TUKE, appointed in the field of HP and AP "Mechanical Engineering"
