On June 5 - 6, 2018, the Sports Centre of the Slovak University of Technology (STU) in Bratislava hosted the finals of the Slovak Academic Football Championships. None of the other finalists, the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU Bratislava), Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica (UMB Banská Bystrica) and Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SPU Nitra), were able to defeat our students. After a 5:3 semi-final victory over SPU Nitra and a challenging final match with UMB Banská Bystrica and a 2:1 victory, our students raised the championship trophy over their heads.
