The best student theses in the field of artificial intelligence awarded

On 19 July 2021 between 3:30 and 5:15 p.m., a workshop was held in the premises of UVP TECHNICOM organised in cooperation with the Technical University in Košice and HUAWEI, dedicated to the presentation of activities, top technologies, and good experiences of HUAWEI in the field of solutions for “Smart City”.  During the workshop, there were short speeches by a representative of TUKE – Dr. h. c. prof. Ing. Anton Čižmár, CSc., Vice-Rector for Innovation and Technology Transfer; by Cui Yu, General Manager of Huawei Technologies (Slovakia) s.r.o.; and by Ing. Jaroslav Polaček, Mayor of Košice. 

Within the workshop, the best bachelor's and master's theses from TUKE in the field of artificial intelligence were evaluated, and they were awarded by HUAWEI. The workshop was moderated by prof. Ing. Peter Sinčák, PhD., Head of the Department of Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence FEI TUKE, a prominent expert in the field of artificial intelligence.
