The President of the Slovak Republic visited TUKE

On November 12, 2018, His Excellency Andrej Kiska, the President of the Slovak Republic, visited the Technical University of Košice. He was welcomed by prof. Stanislav Kmeť, the Rector of TUKE.

At the beginning of his visit, he met with the members of the TUKE management, and the main topic of the meeting was the quality of higher education in Slovakia. Afterwards, he continued his visit in Aula Maxima, where more than 500 students and staff members of the university were waiting for him. During the discussion, he addressed several of the current topics that are resonating within the society and responded to the diverse questions of students.

He finished his visit, the topic of which was the forthcoming International Student Day, by signing the TUKE Visitors Book and by a short briefing.
