The Technical University of Košice is being presented at the International Engineering Fair (MSV) in Brno, which is considered to be the most important industrial fair in Central Europe. It is attended by more than 1,600 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors every year. The attendance of the fair is highly expert: 79% of visitors decide or co-decide on investments and purchases, a third of them belong to the top management. More than a half of the visitors consider innovations, new technologies and contacts to be the main asset of the fair.
MSV has traditionally been given high media attention. More than 400 journalists are accredited for the event. Excellent accompanying programme which consists of conferences, seminars and workshops on current technical, business and economic topics are all part of the fair.
At our stand, visitors can see a hydrogen powered car with hydrogen stored in an MH container and unique implants from the portfolio of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Our university exposition attracted attention of the Prime Ministers of the Slovak and Czech Republics. Slovak Prime Minister, Peter Pellegrini, emphasized the high professional level of our exhibits and unique contribution to social and professional practice. He also promised support for innovative TUKE projects.
