On April 25, 2018 in the premises of the Technical University of Košice, representatives of the universities of Kiev and the surrounding towns were welcomed by the Rector, prof. Stanislav Kmeť, CSc. The meeting was held within the framework of the 4th annual event "Days of Ukraine 2018 in Košice". A presenter of the event was prof. Ing. Ervin Lumnitzer, PhD., the Vice-Rector for Education, and our university was represented also by the deans and vice-deans.
During the meeting there was a discussion on cooperation in the field of education (double degrees) and research. The event outcome was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Technical University of Košice and the Taurida National V.I. Vernadsky University (TNU Kiev).

The special guests had the opportunity to view selected faculty laboratories, and also the university science park Technicom, which was presented by its director, doc. Ing. Frantisek Jakab, PhD.
