Faculty of Materials, Metallurgy and Recycling at TUKE is a place where modern technologies meet innovation and a sustainable future. If you are interested in what materials around us are made of and how they are created—from metals and polymers to environmentally friendly recycling solutions—you’re in the right place.

The study programs focus on the practical application of chemistry, materials engineering, and modern technological processes in real industry. You will learn to work with digital tools, simulations, and data analysis, which today form the foundation of smart manufacturing.

The faculty places strong emphasis on recycling, the circular economy, sustainability, and environmentally friendly technologies, all of which are becoming increasingly important. During your studies, you will take part in company projects, engage in research, and have opportunities for international mobility. You will gain practical experience that will help you stand out in the job market. Graduates find employment both at home and abroad in industry, development, and modern green technologies.
